The main studio of the GTRK Samara was visited by the People's Artist of Russia, the president of the Golden Mask National Theater Prize Igor Kostolevsky and advised that in the coming days the Samara viewer could see.

In an exclusive interview with our television and radio company, the People's Artist of Russia said that by tradition in the Samara region, the regional program of the festival will be held. In early May, the performances marked by the Russian National Theater Prize “Golden Mask” will be shown on the stage of the Opera and Ballet Theater.

On May 3, the spectators are waiting for the evening of one -act ballets of the Yekaterinburg Theater Ural Opera Ballet. May 6 – a dramatic performance of the Russian Academic Youth Theater (Moscow). Also in May in Novokuybyshevsk, the production of the Hodge Nasruddin Theater will be presented. This is the first performance in the genre of the Puppet Theater Director and screenwriter Timur Bekmambetov. His theater debut received the title of best puppet performance.

As Igor Kostolevsky noted, this year the touring program of the Golden Mask festival is held in 13 Russian cities. Recall that the Samara region accepts the best performances of the country for the second time.

The Golden Mask and the Samara region are connected by close friendship. Almost every year, the Samara Drama Theater, the Opera and Ballet Theater, Novokuybyshevsky Theater Gran participate in the Golden Mask programs and we will continue this tradition, said Igor Kostolevsky.

Igor Kostolevsky – Soviet and Russian actor of theater, cinema and dubbing, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the Lenin Komsomol and State Prize of the Russian Federation, president of the Russian National Theater Prize Golden Mask. Igor Kostolevsky played more than 50 roles in the theater, including Misha Rumyantsev (“Relatives” by Emil Braginsky and Eldar Ryazanov), Machik (“Destroy” by Alexander Fadeev), Treplev (“Seagull” Anton Chekhov) and others. Also, the legendary artist played more than 60 roles in the cinema. He starred in the films “A Dawns here is quiet” (1972), “Star of captivating happiness” (1975), Tehran -43 (1980), “Another Woman, another man” (2003) and others.
