Branch in Chernyakhovsk

The branch of OANO VO Moscow Psychological and Social University in Chernyakhovsk, Kaliningrad Region, began to carry out educational activities in 1999, initially without its own building and renting premises.
In 2000, at the initiative of the rector, a pre-war building was purchased in an old German mansion built in 1886.
Before the war, there was a municipal Sunday school for boys, in Soviet times – the classrooms of school No. 3, then kindergarten No. 9.
In the late 90s, the empty building began to collapse, so it had to be rebuilt almost from scratch.
In a short time, the building was brought to perfect condition: the facade was restored, the interior decoration was restored. In 2001, the building was put into operation.
